ABOUT:

Welcome to Rainy City Studios! We are honored to be your school portrait photographer again this year!  We are slightly different than your average school photographer.  We don't believe in crazy backgrounds and cheesy smiles.  

Our images are custom, candid and authentic.   Our goal is to capture your child's natural expressions and to provide you with beautiful images you will treasure for years.

MORE INFO:

  • All students are photographed on picture day.

  • All students/children will receive an online proofing gallery a few days after picture day. This gallery will contain approximately 10-15 images in both color and black + white.

  • All ordering will conveniently take place online after picture day. You get to view the pictures before you order!

  • There are no ordering minimums and there is no obligation to buy. We only want you to purchase what you love!

  • Prints start at $16.99.

  • Digital Image packages range from $29.99 (one digital image) to $99.99 (for all of the digital images in one album). Digital images include a print release so you can print on your own!

  • Fine art matted prints will also be available to order.

  • Buy More & Save More Savings available. Save between 10-15%. This discount is for families with more than one student or for those who want to order larger packages.

PICTURE DAY TIPS:

  • All pictures will be taken on a dark grey background. Due to this, we recommend choosing shirts and tops that coordinate with this color. You want something that will contrast and or “pop” with dark grey. (see sample images)

  • Avoid clothing with logos, distracting graphics and neon colors.

  • Shirts and tops with layers/textures are great.

  • Don’t worry too much about shoes - they most likely will not be part of most of the photographs.

  • Glasses are fine but avoid transition lenses. (Some students bring frames with no lenses to use for picture day - completely avoiding glare).
